በኢትዮጵያ 5,600 የሲቪል ማህበረሰብ ድርጅቶች ተመዝግበው በስራ ላይ መሆናቸው ተነገረ፡፡
ከዛሬ 40 አመት በፊት የ1977ቱን ድርቅ ተከትሎ ሰብዓዊ ድጋፍ ለማድረግ ወደ ኢትዮጵያ የመጣው ኬር ኢትዮጵያ ከነዚህ ድርጅቶች ውስጥ አንደኛው ሲሆን ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ ስራ ከጀመርኩ 40 አመት ሆኖኛል ብሏል፡፡
ትናንት በሸራተን ሆቴል በተሰናዳ ዝግጅትም ይህንኑ የ40 ዓመት የስራ ጉዞውን አስቧል፡፡
የኢትዮጵያ ሲቪል ማህበረሰብ ድርጅቶች ባለስልጣን ምክትል ዳይሬክተር አቶ ፋሲካው ሞላ፤ኬር ኢትዮጵያ ከዛሬ 40 አመት በፊት ኢትዮጵያ የከፋ የሰብአዊ ቀውስ ውስጥ በነበረችበት ጊዜ የመጣ ድርጅት መሆኑን ተናግረዋል።
ኬር በአለም ዙሪያ በ121 ሀገሮች እንደሚራ የተነገረ ሲሆን በኢትዮጵያ ያለው ፕሮጀክትም ከሁሉም በመጠኑ ትልቁ እንደሆነ ሲነገር ሰምተናል።
ባለፈው የፈንጆቹ አመት 2025 ኬር ኢትዮጵያ በኢትዮጵያ ላለው ስራው 100 ሚሊዮን ዶላር የተጠጋ ገንዘብ መመደቡም ተነግሯል።
ኬር በኮንፌዴሬሽን የሚሰራ ሲሆን በአሜሪካ፣ካናዳ፣አውስትራሊያና ሌሎችም ሀገሮች ቢሮዎች አሉት ሲሉ የኬር ኢትዮጵያ ካንትሪ ዳይሬክተር የሆኑት ዶ.ር ማህተመ ምክረ ነግረውናል።
